ClipGrab is an open-source free app for GNU/Linux with which you can download and convert any YouTube video instantly.

The program is executed in the second plane, so that, when you play the YouTube video, it notifies you of the option to download it.

You can download the videos in MP4, WMV, OGG (video), MP3 (audio only) and OGG (audio) formats. We can also choose the video quality: HD (720p), high (480p), normal (360p) and low (240p).

The process is easy and fast, without complications for users with little experience. More advanced users have access to an option menu that allows them to configure the directives to be used, the use of proxy or the behavior of the notifications.

In this way, ClipGrab becomes and excellent alternative for downloading videos from YouTube.
